Eucalyptus Grades

Eucalyptus grandis is usually supplied Kiln dried and Rough sawn to the following specifications:

1.  WIDTHS:  75mm and wider, on 25mm increments, max 30% 75mm

2.  LENGTHS:  2 mtr and longer, allowing max 5% 1.8 mtr

3.  Moisture content:  12% maximum

4.  Grade:  Packet mix is A/B 50% minimum/50% maximum

      a)  A Grade:  max 3 knots allowed per length of the board
      b)  B Grade:  max 10 knots alllowed per length of the board

5.  End Splits:  Allowing end splits to a max of 10% of the length of the board. (allow end  
     splits to a max of 15% of the length of the board for lumber 175mm and wider)

6.  Thickness tolerance:  -0/+2mm
